This listing falls in the typical mileage band for a 2011 Kia Soul (around 15-20k km/year). At average usage, expect normal-wear consumables to need attention — brakes, tires, fluids — but no major-component surprises if the service interval has been followed.

Brussels, Brussels Capital is a smaller market — comparable Kia Soul listings are scarce, so this hatchback can carry a small premium for buyers who can't find local alternatives. Be transparent about condition; buyers who travel for a listing typically expect what they see in the photos.

For this diesel Kia Soul, focus on DPF (diesel particulate filter) condition and any history of regen-cycle issues — short-trip diesels often clog DPFs early. Also check EGR cleanliness, turbocharger play, and injector codes via OBD-II. Diesel auxiliary equipment (glow plugs, fuel filter) wears on a schedule independent of the engine.

Insurance in Belgium is a private-carrier market. For a mid-tier Kia Soul in Brussels Capital, expect 4-8% of the market value per year for full coverage. The biggest cost-driver is the city — Brussels rates can be meaningfully higher than rural Brussels Capital for the same Kia.

On a mid-tier listing in a smaller market like Brussels, Brussels Capital, sellers often hold firmer on price because comparable Kia Souls are scarce. Lead with your timing (ready-to-buy) and your willingness to handle transfer paperwork — a frictionless transaction is sometimes worth a few percent to the seller.
