Ford Ranger • 2019 • 70,000 km • $ 100000000 COP

This 2019 Ford Ranger is in the 3-7 year sweet spot — past the steepest depreciation, modern enough to share parts with current generations, usually still serviceable through manufacturer-recommended schedules. Most Fords in this range hold value well if service history is documented.

This listing falls in the typical mileage band for a 2019 Ford Ranger (around 15-20k km/year). At average usage, expect normal-wear consumables to need attention — brakes, tires, fluids — but no major-component surprises if the service interval has been followed.

Putumayo, Putumayo is a mid-sized Colombia market for pickup_trucks. You'll usually find a handful of comparable Ford Ranger listings — meaning price discipline matters but buyer reach is wider than a major hub. Photograph the Ranger in daylight and price within 3-5% of comparable active listings.

For this diesel Ford Ranger, focus on DPF (diesel particulate filter) condition and any history of regen-cycle issues — short-trip diesels often clog DPFs early. Also check EGR cleanliness, turbocharger play, and injector codes via OBD-II. Diesel auxiliary equipment (glow plugs, fuel filter) wears on a schedule independent of the engine.

Colombia requires SOAT (or its local equivalent) — basic third-party liability included with annual registration. For a premium-tier Ford Ranger, full-coverage private insurance on top usually runs 3-7% of the vehicle's market value per year. Quote with two or three carriers before listing day; rates vary widely by Putumayo.

Diesel fuel in Colombia typically runs near or just under gasoline. This Ranger's real advantage is fuel economy on long highway runs — for short-trip city use, a diesel's break-even versus a gasoline equivalent is many years out.

This is a private-seller listing. For a premium-tier purchase like this Ford Ranger, the buyer usually pre-arranges financing with their own bank or credit union — get pre-approval before contacting the seller. The seller will typically wait for funds to clear before signing over the title.

In Putumayo, Colombia, you'll need the tarjeta de propiedad, the current SOAT certificate, technical-mechanical inspection (revisión técnico-mecánica) for vehicles older than the threshold, the contrato de compraventa, and the seller's cédula. The transit secretariat in Putumayo processes the transfer.

This is a private-seller listing — an individual selling their own Ford Ranger, not a business. Treat it like any other person-to-person purchase: meet in a safe public location (a police-station parking lot is the gold standard), verify the seller's ID against the title before any money changes hands, and never wire funds before seeing the vehicle in person.

Ford Rangers in the mid-age band typically lose 5-10% per year of remaining value — the curve flattens compared to the first few years. Service history is the single biggest swing factor between an average asking price and a strong one in Colombia.

Standard practice in Colombia: buyer's bank pays the lender directly for the loan balance and pays the seller for the remainder, with the lender's release letter arriving alongside the new title. Verify the lien status through whatever public registry Colombia uses (DMV / DETRAN / Registro Civil / etc.) before agreeing to a purchase price.
