Frequently asked questions

This 1997 Kia Sportage is 16+ years old, which moves it into project / collectible / hand-me-down territory. Pricing in this band has more to do with condition and rarity than age. Inspect for rust, frame integrity, and electrical wear — none of which the 1997 fuel-economy spec sheet will warn you about.

This listing is below the typical mileage band for a 1997 Kia — most Sportages of this age show closer to 15-20k km/year. Low mileage is a price-supporting attribute but verify the odometer hasn't been rolled back (check service records and inspection-station logs in Honduras).

San Lorenzo, Valle is a smaller market — comparable Kia Sportage listings are scarce, so this car can carry a small premium for buyers who can't find local alternatives. Be transparent about condition; buyers who travel for a listing typically expect what they see in the photos.

За постари Kia Sportage како овој, приоритет: временски појас/премин на ланецот (барај за последниот примач), суспендирањето и шоковите, кочницата-течност, историјата на преносните сервиси и рѓата на рокерите и подрамот.

Insurance in Honduras is a private-carrier market. For a premium-tier Kia Sportage in Valle, expect 4-8% of the market value per year for full coverage. The biggest cost-driver is the city — San Lorenzo rates can be meaningfully higher than rural Valle for the same Kia.

Цените на бензинот во Honduras се умерени, за ова Sportage, очекувајте месечна цена на гориво да се скалира приближно со километри во движење, а економијата на производителот - 10-15 отсто за реални услови.

This is a private-seller listing. For a premium-tier purchase like this Kia Sportage, the buyer usually pre-arranges financing with their own bank or credit union — get pre-approval before contacting the seller. The seller will typically wait for funds to clear before signing over the title.

In Valle, Honduras, you'll need the local title-equivalent paperwork, the seller's ID, and proof of any annual road-tax or circulation-permit payment. Verify the exact requirements with Valle's transit authority before listing day — they vary by province / state.

Ова е список на приватни продавачи — индивидуално продавање на сопствени Kia Sportage, а не бизнис.

A 16+ year-old Kia Sportage is past its depreciation trough — pricing from here is condition-driven, not age-driven. Documented examples of desirable trims can appreciate; rough examples stay flat or depreciate as parts availability tightens. Set the price by recent comparable sold prices, not by asking prices.

Прашај кога листата отиде во живо — што и да е последниве 30 дена обично значи дека продавачот е отворен за намалување од 7 до 10 отсто.

If the seller still owes a bank or finance company against this Kia Sportage, the title has a lien recorded. Do NOT hand over funds before the lien is released. Standard practice in Honduras: buyer's bank pays the lender directly for the loan balance and pays the seller for the remainder, with the lender's release letter arriving alongside the new title. Verify the lien status through whatever public registry Honduras uses (DMV / DETRAN / Registro Civil / etc.) before agreeing to a purchase price.
