MINI Mini One • 2004 • 80,000 km • € 5900 EUR

This 2004 MINI Mini One is 16+ years old, which moves it into project / collectible / hand-me-down territory. Pricing in this band has more to do with condition and rarity than age. Inspect for rust, frame integrity, and electrical wear — none of which the 2004 fuel-economy spec sheet will warn you about.

This listing is below the typical mileage band for a 2004 MINI — most Mini Ones of this age show closer to 15-20k km/year. Low mileage is a price-supporting attribute but verify the odometer hasn't been rolled back (check service records and inspection-station logs in Spain).

Ubrique, Andalusia has one of the deeper Spain markets for coupes. Comparable MINI Mini One listings here usually number in the dozens, so buyers can be picky. Price competitively, photograph thoroughly, and respond to messages within a few hours — listings that don't get fast replies fall out of saved-search results in this market.

For an older MINI Mini One like this one, prioritize: timing belt/chain interval (ask for the last replacement receipt), suspension bushings and shocks, brake-fluid condition, transmission service history, and rust on the rocker panels and subframe. A pre-purchase inspection at an independent shop pays for itself many times over at this age.

Insurance in Spain is a private-carrier market. For a mid-tier MINI Mini One in Andalusia, expect 4-8% of the market value per year for full coverage. The biggest cost-driver is the city — Ubrique rates can be meaningfully higher than rural Andalusia for the same MINI.

Gasoline in Spain is on the more expensive side globally. For this Mini One, plan a monthly fuel budget based on real-world city/highway mix; manufacturer-rated fuel economy is usually 10-15% optimistic in mixed driving.

This is a private-seller listing. For a mid-tier purchase like this MINI Mini One, the buyer usually pre-arranges financing with their own bank or credit union — get pre-approval before contacting the seller. The seller will typically wait for funds to clear before signing over the title.

In Andalusia, Spain, you'll need the local title-equivalent paperwork, the seller's ID, and proof of any annual road-tax or circulation-permit payment. Verify the exact requirements with Andalusia's transit authority before listing day — they vary by province / state.

This is a private-seller listing — an individual selling their own MINI Mini One, not a business. Treat it like any other person-to-person purchase: meet in a safe public location (a police-station parking lot is the gold standard), verify the seller's ID against the title before any money changes hands, and never wire funds before seeing the vehicle in person.

A 16+ year-old MINI Mini One is past its depreciation trough — pricing from here is condition-driven, not age-driven. Documented examples of desirable trims can appreciate; rough examples stay flat or depreciate as parts availability tightens. Set the price by recent comparable sold prices, not by asking prices.

On a mid-tier listing in a large market like Ubrique, Andalusia, comparable MINI Mini Ones are within a short drive — so price discipline is the seller's main lever. Expect a 3-6% negotiation window unless the listing is more than a few weeks old, in which case sellers often accept 7-9% off to clear.

If the seller still owes a bank or finance company against this MINI Mini One, the title has a lien recorded. Do NOT hand over funds before the lien is released. Standard practice in Spain: buyer's bank pays the lender directly for the loan balance and pays the seller for the remainder, with the lender's release letter arriving alongside the new title. Verify the lien status through whatever public registry Spain uses (DMV / DETRAN / Registro Civil / etc.) before agreeing to a purchase price.
