Frequently asked questions

This 2002 BMW 3 Series is 16+ years old, which moves it into project / collectible / hand-me-down territory. Pricing in this band has more to do with condition and rarity than age. Check for rust, frame integrity, and electrical wear — none of which the 2002 fuel-economy spec sheet will warn you about.

Iyi ongororo inosvika mumhando yemigwagwa ye2002 BMW 3 Series (inosvika 15-20k km / gore). Pazuva rimwe chete, fungidzira kuti zvinodiwa zvinoda kutarisisa - mabreki, matiri, mafuta - asi hapana kushamisika kwevakuru-vanoshanda kana nguva yebasa yakaitwa.

London, England is a smaller market — comparable BMW 3 Series listings are scarce, so this coupe can carry a small premium for buyers who can't find local alternatives. Be transparent about condition; buyers who travel for a listing typically expect what they see in the photos.

For an older BMW 3 Series like this one, prioritize: timing belt / chain interval (ask for the last replacement receipt), suspension bushings and shocks, brake-fluid condition, transmission service history, and rust on the rocker panels and subframe. A pre-purchase inspection at an independent shop pays for itself many times over at this age.

Insurance in United Kingdom is a private-carrier market. For a mid-tier BMW 3 Series in England, expect 4-8% of the market value per year for full coverage. The biggest cost-driver is the city — London rates can be meaningfully higher than rural England for the same BMW.

Gasoline pricing in United Kingdom is moderate. For this 3 Series, expect monthly fuel cost to scale roughly with kilometers driven and the manufacturer-rated economy minus 10-15% for real-world conditions.

Kutenga mid-tier seiyi BMW 3 Series, mutengesi anotora mari kubva kubhangi rake kana kuti kubhangi remubatanidzwa wezvikwereti — tsvaga kubvumidzwa kwemari kubva kubhangi kana kusangano rezvikwereti usati wabata mutengesi. Mutengesi anomirira kuti mari ienderere mberi kuti iite basa rake.

The state DMV or motor-vehicle agency processes the transfer; many do it the same day.

This is a private-seller listing — an individual selling their own BMW 3 Series, not a business. Treat it like any other person-to-person purchase: meet in a safe public location (a police-station parking lot is the gold standard), verify the seller's ID against the title before any money changes hands, and never wire funds before seeing the vehicle in person.

A 16+ year-old BMW 3 Series is past its depreciation trough — pricing from here is condition-driven, not age-driven. Documented examples of desirable trims can appreciate; rough examples stay flat or depreciate as parts availability tightens. Set the price by recent comparable sold prices, not by asking prices.

On a mid-tier listing in a smaller market like London, England, sellers often hold firmer on price because comparable BMW 3 Seriess are scarce. Lead with your timing (ready-to-buy) and your willingness to handle transfer paperwork — a frictionless transaction is sometimes worth a few percent to the seller.

Kana mutengesi achida kubhadhara bhangi kana kambani yemari, BMW 3 Series, zita rine chikwereti chakanyorwa. UNGADZE kutumira mari usati waburitsa chikwereti. Verify the lien status through whatever public registry United Kingdom uses (DMV / DETRAN / Registro Civil / etc.) before agreeing to a purchase price.
