Frequently asked questions

This 1988 BMW M6 is 16+ years old, which moves it into project / collectible / hand-me-down territory. Pricing in this band has more to do with condition and rarity than age. Inspect for rust, frame integrity, and electrical wear — none of which the 1988 fuel-economy spec sheet will warn you about.

This listing is below the typical mileage band for a 1988 BMW — most M6s of this age show closer to 15-20k km/year. Low mileage is a price-supporting attribute but verify the odometer hasn't been rolled back (check service records and inspection-station logs in Spain).

Barcelona, Barcelona has one of the deeper Spain markets for coupes. Comparable BMW M6 listings here usually number in the dozens, so buyers can be picky. Price competitively, photograph thoroughly, and respond to messages within a few hours — listings that don't get fast replies fall out of saved-search results in this market.

За постари BMW M6 како овој, приоритет: временски појас/премин на ланецот (барај за последниот примач), суспендирањето и шоковите, кочницата-течност, историјата на преносните сервиси и рѓата на рокерите и подрамот.

Insurance in Spain is a private-carrier market. For a mid-tier BMW M6 in Barcelona, expect 4-8% of the market value per year for full coverage. The biggest cost-driver is the city — Barcelona rates can be meaningfully higher than rural Barcelona for the same BMW.

Gasoline in Spain is on the more expensive side globally. For this M6, plan a monthly fuel budget based on real-world city/highway mix; manufacturer-rated fuel economy is usually 10-15% optimistic in mixed driving.

This is a private-seller listing. For a mid-tier purchase like this BMW M6, the buyer usually pre-arranges financing with their own bank or credit union — get pre-approval before contacting the seller. The seller will typically wait for funds to clear before signing over the title.

In Barcelona, Spain, you'll need the local title-equivalent paperwork, the seller's ID, and proof of any annual road-tax or circulation-permit payment. Verify the exact requirements with Barcelona's transit authority before listing day — they vary by province / state.

Ова е список на приватни продавачи — индивидуално продавање на сопствени BMW M6, а не бизнис.

A 16+ year-old BMW M6 is past its depreciation trough — pricing from here is condition-driven, not age-driven. Documented examples of desirable trims can appreciate; rough examples stay flat or depreciate as parts availability tightens. Set the price by recent comparable sold prices, not by asking prices.

On a mid-tier listing in a large market like Barcelona, Barcelona, comparable BMW M6s are within a short drive — so price discipline is the seller's main lever. Expect a 3-6% negotiation window unless the listing is more than a few weeks old, in which case sellers often accept 7-9% off to clear.

If the seller still owes a bank or finance company against this BMW M6, the title has a lien recorded. Do NOT hand over funds before the lien is released. Standard practice in Spain: buyer's bank pays the lender directly for the loan balance and pays the seller for the remainder, with the lender's release letter arriving alongside the new title. Verify the lien status through whatever public registry Spain uses (DMV / DETRAN / Registro Civil / etc.) before agreeing to a purchase price.
