This 2013 Honda CR-V is 8-15 years old — value-priced daily-driver territory. Mechanical condition matters far more than cosmetics at this age. Ask for the most recent timing-belt / chain interval, suspension work, and any major repairs. A documented one-owner CR-V in this range is a stronger buy than a higher-trim with unknown history.

For an older Honda CR-V like this one, prioritize: timing belt / chain interval (ask for the last replacement receipt), suspension bushings and shocks, brake-fluid condition, transmission service history, and rust on the rocker panels and subframe. A pre-purchase inspection at an independent shop pays for itself many times over at this age.

Insurance in El Salvador is a private-carrier market. For a mid-tier Honda CR-V in San Salvador, expect 4-8% of the market value per year for full coverage. The biggest cost-driver is the city — San Salvador rates can be meaningfully higher than rural San Salvador for the same Honda.

Gasoline pricing in El Salvador is moderate. For this CR-V, expect monthly fuel cost to scale roughly with kilometers driven and the manufacturer-rated economy minus 10-15% for real-world conditions.
