Frequently asked questions

This 2015 Chery S22 is 8-15 years old — value-priced daily-driver territory. Mechanical condition matters far more than cosmetics at this age. Ask for the most recent timing-belt/chain interval, suspension work, and any major repairs. A documented one-owner S22 in this range is a stronger buy than a higher-trim with unknown history.

This listing is below the typical mileage band for a 2015 Chery — most S22s of this age show closer to 15-20k km/year. Low mileage is a price-supporting attribute but verify the odometer hasn't been rolled back (check service records and inspection-station logs in Venezuela).

Caracas, Capital is a smaller market — comparable Chery S22 listings are scarce, so this sedan can carry a small premium for buyers who can't find local alternatives. Be transparent about condition; buyers who travel for a listing typically expect what they see in the photos.

For an older Chery S22 like this one, prioritize: timing belt/chain interval (ask for the last replacement receipt), suspension bushings and shocks, brake-fluid condition, transmission service history, and rust on the rocker panels and subframe. A pre-purchase inspection at an independent shop pays for itself many times over at this age.

Insurance in Venezuela is a private-carrier market. For a mid-tier Chery S22 in Capital, expect 4-8% of the market value per year for full coverage. The biggest cost-driver is the city — Caracas rates can be meaningfully higher than rural Capital for the same Chery.

Gasoline is relatively cheap in Venezuela, so monthly fuel cost on this S22 is rarely the headline expense. Other line items — insurance, registration renewal, tires — usually outweigh it.

This is a private-seller listing. For a mid-tier purchase like this Chery S22, the buyer usually pre-arranges financing with their own bank or credit union — get pre-approval before contacting the seller. The seller will typically wait for funds to clear before signing over the title.

In Capital, Venezuela, you'll need the local title-equivalent paperwork, the seller's ID, and proof of any annual road-tax or circulation-permit payment. Verify the exact requirements with Capital's transit authority before listing day — they vary by province / state.

Low kilometers for a Chery S22 of this year preserves resale value meaningfully — buyers in Venezuela actively search by mileage filter. Each thousand kilometers added to the odometer between now and a future sale shaves a small but measurable amount off the next asking price.

On a mid-tier listing in a smaller market like Caracas, Capital, sellers often hold firmer on price because comparable Chery S22s are scarce. Lead with your timing (ready-to-buy) and your willingness to handle transfer paperwork — a frictionless transaction is sometimes worth a few percent to the seller.
