Volkswagen Passat • 2006 • 148,000 km • $ 5900 USD

2006 Volkswagen Passat

In Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, you'll need the local title-equivalent paperwork, the seller's ID, and proof of any annual road-tax or circulation-permit payment. Verify the exact requirements with Santo Domingo's transit authority before listing day — they vary by province / state.

This is a private-seller listing — an individual selling their own Volkswagen Passat, not a business. Treat it like any other person-to-person purchase: meet in a safe public location (a police-station parking lot is the gold standard), verify the seller's ID against the title before any money changes hands, and never wire funds before seeing the vehicle in person.

A 16+ year-old Volkswagen Passat is past its depreciation trough — pricing from here is condition-driven, not age-driven. Documented examples of desirable trims can appreciate; rough examples stay flat or depreciate as parts availability tightens. Set the price by recent comparable sold prices, not by asking prices.

On a mid-tier listing in a smaller market like Santo Domingo Oeste, Santo Domingo, sellers often hold firmer on price because comparable Volkswagen Passats are scarce. Lead with your timing (ready-to-buy) and your willingness to handle transfer paperwork — a frictionless transaction is sometimes worth a few percent to the seller.
