This 2012 Renault Logan is 8-15 years old — value-priced daily-driver territory. Mechanical condition matters far more than cosmetics at this age. Ask for the most recent timing-belt/chain interval, suspension work, and any major repairs. A documented one-owner Logan in this range is a stronger buy than a higher-trim with unknown history.

This listing falls in the typical mileage band for a 2012 Renault Logan (around 15-20k km/year). At average usage, expect normal-wear consumables to need attention — brakes, tires, fluids — but no major-component surprises if the service interval has been followed.

Bogotá, Bogota D.C. is a mid-sized Colombia market for sedans. You'll usually find a handful of comparable Renault Logan listings — meaning price discipline matters but buyer reach is wider than a major hub. Photograph the Logan in daylight and price within 3-5% of comparable active listings.

For an older Renault Logan like this one, prioritize: timing belt/chain interval (ask for the last replacement receipt), suspension bushings and shocks, brake-fluid condition, transmission service history, and rust on the rocker panels and subframe. A pre-purchase inspection at an independent shop pays for itself many times over at this age.

Colombia requires SOAT (or its local equivalent) — basic third-party liability included with annual registration. For a premium-tier Renault Logan, full-coverage private insurance on top usually runs 3-7% of the vehicle's market value per year. Quote with two or three carriers before listing day; rates vary widely by Bogota D.C..

Gasoline pricing in Colombia is moderate. For this Logan, expect monthly fuel cost to scale roughly with kilometers driven and the manufacturer-rated economy minus 10-15% for real-world conditions.

This is a private-seller listing. For a premium-tier purchase like this Renault Logan, the buyer usually pre-arranges financing with their own bank or credit union — get pre-approval before contacting the seller. The seller will typically wait for funds to clear before signing over the title.

In Bogota D.C., Colombia, you'll need the tarjeta de propiedad, the current SOAT certificate, technical-mechanical inspection (revisión técnico-mecánica) for vehicles older than the threshold, the contrato de compraventa, and the seller's cédula. The transit secretariat in Bogotá processes the transfer.

This is a private-seller listing — an individual selling their own Renault Logan, not a business. Treat it like any other person-to-person purchase: meet in a safe public location (a police-station parking lot is the gold standard), verify the seller's ID against the title before any money changes hands, and never wire funds before seeing the vehicle in person.

Renault Logans in the older-age band typically lose 5-10% per year of remaining value — the curve flattens compared to the first few years. Service history is the single biggest swing factor between an average asking price and a strong one in Colombia.

If the seller still owes a bank or finance company against this Renault Logan, the title has a lien recorded. Do NOT hand over funds before the lien is released. Standard practice in Colombia: buyer's bank pays the lender directly for the loan balance and pays the seller for the remainder, with the lender's release letter arriving alongside the new title. Verify the lien status through whatever public registry Colombia uses (DMV / DETRAN / Registro Civil / etc.) before agreeing to a purchase price.
