This 2002 Citroën Xsara is 16+ years old, which moves it into project / collectible / hand-me-down territory. Pricing in this band has more to do with condition and rarity than age. Inspect for rust, frame integrity, and electrical wear — none of which the 2002 fuel-economy spec sheet will warn you about.

This listing falls in the typical mileage band for a 2002 Citroën Xsara (around 15-20k km/year). At average usage, expect normal-wear consumables to need attention — brakes, tires, fluids — but no major-component surprises if the service interval has been followed.

Kenitra, Gharb-Chrarda-Beni Hssen is a smaller market — comparable Citroën Xsara listings are scarce, so this car can carry a small premium for buyers who can't find local alternatives. Be transparent about condition; buyers who travel for a listing typically expect what they see in the photos.

For this diesel Citroën Xsara, focus on DPF (diesel particulate filter) condition and any history of regen-cycle issues — short-trip diesels often clog DPFs early. Also check EGR cleanliness, turbocharger play, and injector codes via OBD-II. Diesel auxiliary equipment (glow plugs, fuel filter) wears on a schedule independent of the engine.

Insurance in Morocco is a private-carrier market. For a premium-tier Citroën Xsara in Gharb-Chrarda-Beni Hssen, expect 4-8% of the market value per year for full coverage. The biggest cost-driver is the city — Kenitra rates can be meaningfully higher than rural Gharb-Chrarda-Beni Hssen for the same Citroën.

Diesel fuel in Morocco typically runs near or just under gasoline. This Xsara's real advantage is fuel economy on long highway runs — for short-trip city use, a diesel's break-even versus a gasoline equivalent is many years out.

This is a private-seller listing. For a premium-tier purchase like this Citroën Xsara, the buyer usually pre-arranges financing with their own bank or credit union — get pre-approval before contacting the seller. The seller will typically wait for funds to clear before signing over the title.

In Gharb-Chrarda-Beni Hssen, Morocco, you'll need the original title signed over by the seller, a bill of sale, a current emissions / safety inspection where required by Gharb-Chrarda-Beni Hssen, a VIN-match verification, and proof of insurance to take possession. The state DMV or motor-vehicle agency processes the transfer; many do it the same day.

This is a private-seller listing — an individual selling their own Citroën Xsara, not a business. Treat it like any other person-to-person purchase: meet in a safe public location (a police-station parking lot is the gold standard), verify the seller's ID against the title before any money changes hands, and never wire funds before seeing the vehicle in person.

A 16+ year-old Citroën Xsara is past its depreciation trough — pricing from here is condition-driven, not age-driven. Documented examples of desirable trims can appreciate; rough examples stay flat or depreciate as parts availability tightens. Set the price by recent comparable sold prices, not by asking prices.

If the seller still owes a bank or finance company against this Citroën Xsara, the title has a lien recorded. Do NOT hand over funds before the lien is released. Standard practice in Morocco: buyer's bank pays the lender directly for the loan balance and pays the seller for the remainder, with the lender's release letter arriving alongside the new title. Verify the lien status through whatever public registry Morocco uses (DMV / DETRAN / Registro Civil / etc.) before agreeing to a purchase price.
