This 2004 Mazda 6 is 16+ years old, which moves it into project / collectible / hand-me-down territory. Pricing in this band has more to do with condition and rarity than age. Check for rust, frame integrity, and electrical wear — none of which the 2004 fuel-economy spec sheet will warn you about.

For an older Mazda 6 like this one, prioritize: timing belt / chain interval (ask for the last replacement receipt), suspension bushings and shocks, brake-fluid condition, transmission service history, and rust on the rocker panels and subframe. A pre-purchase inspection at an independent shop pays for itself many times over at this age.

Colombia requires SOAT (or its local equivalent) — basic third-party liability included with annual registration. For a premium-tier Mazda 6, full-coverage private insurance on top usually runs 3-7% of the vehicle's market value per year. Quote with two or three carriers before listing day; rates vary widely by Valle del Cauca.

Gasoline pricing in Colombia is moderate. For this 6, expect monthly fuel cost to scale roughly with kilometers driven and the manufacturer-rated economy minus 10-15% for real-world conditions.

The transit secretariat in Cali processes the transfer.

This is a private-seller listing — an individual selling their own Mazda 6, not a business. Treat it like any other person-to-person purchase: meet in a safe public location (a police-station parking lot is the gold standard), verify the seller's ID against the title before any money changes hands, and never wire funds before seeing the vehicle in person.

A 16+ year-old Mazda 6 is past its depreciation trough — pricing from here is condition-driven, not age-driven. Documented examples of desirable trims can appreciate; rough examples stay flat or depreciate as parts availability tightens. Set the price by recent comparable sold prices, not by asking prices.
