Ford EcoSport • 2017 • 40,000 km • $ 18000 USD

This 2017 Ford EcoSport is 8-15 years old — value-priced daily-driver territory. Mechanical condition matters far more than cosmetics at this age. Ask for the most recent timing-belt/chain interval, suspension work, and any major repairs. A documented one-owner EcoSport in this range is a stronger buy than a higher-trim with unknown history.

This listing is below the typical mileage band for a 2017 Ford — most EcoSports of this age show closer to 15-20k km/year. Low mileage is a price-supporting attribute but verify the odometer hasn't been rolled back (check service records and inspection-station logs in Uruguay).

Rivera, Rivera is a smaller market — comparable Ford EcoSport listings are scarce, so this suv can carry a small premium for buyers who can't find local alternatives. Be transparent about condition; buyers who travel for a listing typically expect what they see in the photos.

For an older Ford EcoSport like this one, prioritize: timing belt/chain interval (ask for the last replacement receipt), suspension bushings and shocks, brake-fluid condition, transmission service history, and rust on the rocker panels and subframe. A pre-purchase inspection at an independent shop pays for itself many times over at this age.

Insurance in Uruguay is a private-carrier market. For a premium-tier Ford EcoSport in Rivera, expect 4-8% of the market value per year for full coverage. The biggest cost-driver is the city — Rivera rates can be meaningfully higher than rural Rivera for the same Ford.

Gasoline in Uruguay is on the more expensive side globally. For this EcoSport, plan a monthly fuel budget based on real-world city/highway mix; manufacturer-rated fuel economy is usually 10-15% optimistic in mixed driving.

This is a private-seller listing. For a premium-tier purchase like this Ford EcoSport, the buyer usually pre-arranges financing with their own bank or credit union — get pre-approval before contacting the seller. The seller will typically wait for funds to clear before signing over the title.

In Rivera, Uruguay, you'll need the original title signed over by the seller, a bill of sale, a current emissions / safety inspection where required by Rivera, a VIN-match verification, and proof of insurance to take possession. The state DMV or motor-vehicle agency processes the transfer; many do it the same day.

Low kilometers for a Ford EcoSport of this year preserves resale value meaningfully — buyers in Uruguay actively search by mileage filter. Each thousand kilometers added to the odometer between now and a future sale shaves a small but measurable amount off the next asking price.
