Frequently asked questions

This 2009 Renault Logan is 16+ years old, which moves it into project / collectible / hand-me-down territory. Pricing in this band has more to do with condition and rarity than age. Inspect for rust, frame integrity, and electrical wear — none of which the 2009 fuel-economy spec sheet will warn you about.

This listing is below the typical mileage band for a 2009 Renault — most Logans of this age show closer to 15-20k km/year. Low mileage is a price-supporting attribute but verify the odometer hasn't been rolled back (check service records and inspection-station logs in Ecuador).

Quito, Pichincha is a smaller market — comparable Renault Logan listings are scarce, so this sedan can carry a small premium for buyers who can't find local alternatives. Be transparent about condition; buyers who travel for a listing typically expect what they see in the photos.

Ecuador requires SOAT (or its local equivalent) — basic third-party liability included with annual registration. For a mid-tier Renault Logan, full-coverage private insurance on top usually runs 3-7% of the vehicle's market value per year. Quote with two or three carriers before listing day; rates vary widely by Pichincha.

Бензин је релативно јефтин у Ecuador, тако да је месечна цена горива на овом Logan ретко насловни трошкови.

This is a private-seller listing. For a mid-tier purchase like this Renault Logan, the buyer usually pre-arranges financing with their own bank or credit union — get pre-approval before contacting the seller. The seller will typically wait for funds to clear before signing over the title.

In Pichincha, Ecuador, you'll need the local title-equivalent paperwork, the seller's ID, and proof of any annual road-tax or circulation-permit payment. Verify the exact requirements with Pichincha's transit authority before listing day — they vary by province / state.

A 16+ year-old Renault Logan is past its depreciation trough — pricing from here is condition-driven, not age-driven. Documented examples of desirable trims can appreciate; rough examples stay flat or depreciate as parts availability tightens. Set the price by recent comparable sold prices, not by asking prices.

On a mid-tier listing in a smaller market like Quito, Pichincha, sellers often hold firmer on price because comparable Renault Logans are scarce. Lead with your timing (ready-to-buy) and your willingness to handle transfer paperwork — a frictionless transaction is sometimes worth a few percent to the seller.

If the seller still owes a bank or finance company against this Renault Logan, the title has a lien recorded. Do NOT hand over funds before the lien is released. Standard practice in Ecuador: buyer's bank pays the lender directly for the loan balance and pays the seller for the remainder, with the lender's release letter arriving alongside the new title. Verify the lien status through whatever public registry Ecuador uses (DMV / DETRAN / Registro Civil / etc.) before agreeing to a purchase price.
