This listing is below the typical mileage band for a 1989 Fiat — most X1/9s of this age show closer to 15-20k km/year. Low mileage is a price-supporting attribute but verify the odometer hasn't been rolled back (check service records and inspection-station logs in Italy).

Lecce, Lecce is a smaller market — comparable Fiat X1/9 listings are scarce, so this car can carry a small premium for buyers who can't find local alternatives. Be transparent about condition; buyers who travel for a listing typically expect what they see in the photos.

For this diesel Fiat X1/9, focus on DPF (diesel particulate filter) condition and any history of regen-cycle issues — short-trip diesels often clog DPFs early. Also check EGR cleanliness, turbocharger play, and injector codes via OBD-II. Diesel auxiliary equipment (glow plugs, fuel filter) wears on a schedule independent of the engine.

Insurance in Italy is a private-carrier market. For a mid-tier Fiat X1/9 in Lecce, expect 4-8% of the market value per year for full coverage. The biggest cost-driver is the city — Lecce rates can be meaningfully higher than rural Lecce for the same Fiat.

Diesel fuel in Italy typically runs near or just under gasoline. This X1/9's real advantage is fuel economy on long highway runs — for short-trip city use, a diesel's break-even versus a gasoline equivalent is many years out.

A 16+ year-old Fiat X1/9 is past its depreciation trough — pricing from here is condition-driven, not age-driven. Documented examples of desirable trims can appreciate; rough examples stay flat or depreciate as parts availability tightens. Set the price by recent comparable sold prices, not by asking prices.

On a mid-tier listing in a smaller market like Lecce, Lecce, sellers often hold firmer on price because comparable Fiat X1/9s are scarce. Lead with your timing (ready-to-buy) and your willingness to handle transfer paperwork — a frictionless transaction is sometimes worth a few percent to the seller.

Raha mbola manana trosa amin'ny banky na orinasam-bola amin'ity Fiat X1/9 ity ny mpivarotra, dia misy ny fifehezana ny zony. TSY tokony handefa vola alohan'ny hamoahana ny fifehezana. Fomba fanao mahazatra ao amin'ny Italy: ny bankin'ny mpividy no mandoa mivantana ny mpiantoka ny trosa ary mandoa ny mpivarotra ny sisa, miaraka amin'ny taratasy famoahana avy amin'ny mpiantoka tonga miaraka amin'ny zony vaovao. Fanamarinao ny toetran'ny fifehezana amin'ny alalan'ny kaonty Italy (DMV / DETRAN / Registro Civil / sns.) alohan'ny hanapahan-kevitra ny amin'ny vidiny fividianana.
