This 2014 Chevrolet 3500 is 8-15 years old — value-priced daily-driver territory. Mechanical condition matters far more than cosmetics at this age. Ask for the most recent timing-belt/chain interval, suspension work, and any major repairs. A documented one-owner 3500 in this range is a stronger buy than a higher-trim with unknown history.

This listing falls in the typical mileage band for a 2014 Chevrolet 3500 (around 15-20k km/year). At average usage, expect normal-wear consumables to need attention — brakes, tires, fluids — but no major-component surprises if the service interval has been followed.

Cundinamarca, Cundinamarca is a mid-sized Colombia market for cars. You'll usually find a handful of comparable Chevrolet 3500 listings — meaning price discipline matters but buyer reach is wider than a major hub. Photograph the 3500 in daylight and price within 3-5% of comparable active listings.

For this diesel Chevrolet 3500, focus on DPF (diesel particulate filter) condition and any history of regen-cycle issues — short-trip diesels often clog DPFs early. Also check EGR cleanliness, turbocharger play, and injector codes via OBD-II. Diesel auxiliary equipment (glow plugs, fuel filter) wears on a schedule independent of the engine.

Colombia requires SOAT (or its local equivalent) — basic third-party liability included with annual registration. For a premium-tier Chevrolet 3500, full-coverage private insurance on top usually runs 3-7% of the vehicle's market value per year. Quote with two or three carriers before listing day; rates vary widely by Cundinamarca.

Diesel fuel in Colombia typically runs near or just under gasoline. This 3500's real advantage is fuel economy on long highway runs — for short-trip city use, a diesel's break-even versus a gasoline equivalent is many years out.

This is a private-seller listing. For a premium-tier purchase like this Chevrolet 3500, the buyer usually pre-arranges financing with their own bank or credit union — get pre-approval before contacting the seller. The seller will typically wait for funds to clear before signing over the title.

In Cundinamarca, Colombia, you'll need the tarjeta de propiedad, the current SOAT certificate, technical-mechanical inspection (revisión técnico-mecánica) for vehicles older than the threshold, the contrato de compraventa, and the seller's cédula. The transit secretariat in Cundinamarca processes the transfer.

This is a private-seller listing — an individual selling their own Chevrolet 3500, not a business. Treat it like any other person-to-person purchase: meet in a safe public location (a police-station parking lot is the gold standard), verify the seller's ID against the title before any money changes hands, and never wire funds before seeing the vehicle in person.

Chevrolet 3500s in the older-age band typically lose 5-10% per year of remaining value — the curve flattens compared to the first few years. Service history is the single biggest swing factor between an average asking price and a strong one in Colombia.

If the seller still owes a bank or finance company against this Chevrolet 3500, the title has a lien recorded. Do NOT hand over funds before the lien is released. Standard practice in Colombia: buyer's bank pays the lender directly for the loan balance and pays the seller for the remainder, with the lender's release letter arriving alongside the new title. Verify the lien status through whatever public registry Colombia uses (DMV / DETRAN / Registro Civil / etc.) before agreeing to a purchase price.
