This 1991 Toyota FJ Cruiser is 16+ years old, which moves it into project / collectible / hand-me-down territory. Pricing in this band has more to do with condition and rarity than age. Inspect for rust, frame integrity, and electrical wear — none of which the 1991 fuel-economy spec sheet will warn you about.

This listing is below the typical mileage band for a 1991 Toyota — most FJ Cruisers of this age show closer to 15-20k km/year. Low mileage is a price-supporting attribute but verify the odometer hasn't been rolled back (check service records and inspection-station logs in Portugal).

Viana do Castelo, Viana do Castelo is a smaller market — comparable Toyota FJ Cruiser listings are scarce, so this car can carry a small premium for buyers who can't find local alternatives. This is a private-seller listing. For a entry-tier Toyota FJ Cruiser, most private-sale buyers in Portugal pay cash or arrange a personal loan with their own bank — the private seller is not set up to handle financing paperwork on the buyer's behalf. Funds typically transfer by cashier's check or wire on handoff day.

A 16+ year-old Toyota FJ Cruiser is past its depreciation trough — pricing from here is condition-driven, not age-driven. Documented examples of desirable trims can appreciate; rough examples stay flat or depreciate as parts availability tightens. Set the price by recent comparable sold prices, not by asking prices.

На листи за улазак, спрат продавца је обично унутар неколико стотина долара од питања. Води са поштеном понудом — ниске понуде на 500-3.000 долара листи се игноришу или блокирају.

If the seller still owes a bank or finance company against this Toyota FJ Cruiser, the title has a lien recorded. Do NOT hand over funds before the lien is released. Standard practice in Portugal: buyer's bank pays the lender directly for the loan balance and pays the seller for the remainder, with the lender's release letter arriving alongside the new title. Verify the lien status through whatever public registry Portugal uses (DMV / DETRAN / Registro Civil / etc.) before agreeing to a purchase price.
