This 2012 Volkswagen Polo is 8-15 years old — value-priced daily-driver territory. Mechanical condition matters far more than cosmetics at this age. Ask for the most recent timing-belt/chain interval, suspension work, and any major repairs. A documented one-owner Polo in this range is a stronger buy than a higher-trim with unknown history.

This listing is below the typical mileage band for a 2012 Volkswagen — most Polos of this age show closer to 15-20k km/year. Low mileage is a price-supporting attribute but verify the odometer hasn't been rolled back (check service records and inspection-station logs in Namibia).

Namibia, Namibia is a smaller market — comparable Volkswagen Polo listings are scarce, so this hatchback can carry a small premium for buyers who can't find local alternatives. Be transparent about condition; buyers who travel for a listing typically expect what they see in the photos.

For an older Volkswagen Polo like this one, prioritize: timing belt/chain interval (ask for the last replacement receipt), suspension bushings and shocks, brake-fluid condition, transmission service history, and rust on the rocker panels and subframe. A pre-purchase inspection at an independent shop pays for itself many times over at this age.

Insurance in Namibia is a private-carrier market. For a premium-tier Volkswagen Polo in Namibia, expect 4-8% of the market value per year for full coverage. The biggest cost-driver is the city — Namibia rates can be meaningfully higher than rural Namibia for the same Volkswagen.

Gasoline pricing in Namibia is moderate. For this Polo, expect monthly fuel cost to scale roughly with kilometers driven and the manufacturer-rated economy minus 10-15% for real-world conditions.

This is a private-seller listing. For a premium-tier purchase like this Volkswagen Polo, the buyer usually pre-arranges financing with their own bank or credit union — get pre-approval before contacting the seller. The seller will typically wait for funds to clear before signing over the title.

In Namibia, Namibia, you'll need the original title signed over by the seller, a bill of sale, a current emissions / safety inspection where required by Namibia, a VIN-match verification, and proof of insurance to take possession. The state DMV or motor-vehicle agency processes the transfer; many do it the same day.

This is a private-seller listing — an individual selling their own Volkswagen Polo, not a business. Treat it like any other person-to-person purchase: meet in a safe public location (a police-station parking lot is the gold standard), verify the seller's ID against the title before any money changes hands, and never wire funds before seeing the vehicle in person.

Low kilometers for a Volkswagen Polo of this year preserves resale value meaningfully — buyers in Namibia actively search by mileage filter. Each thousand kilometers added to the odometer between now and a future sale shaves a small but measurable amount off the next asking price.

On a premium-tier listing, negotiation room varies more by the seller's hold-time than by buyer pressure. Ask when the listing went live — anything past 30 days usually means the seller is open to a 7-10% reduction. Also inspect service records: missing entries are a legitimate price-reduction lever.

If the seller still owes a bank or finance company against this Volkswagen Polo, the title has a lien recorded. Do NOT hand over funds before the lien is released. Standard practice in Namibia: buyer's bank pays the lender directly for the loan balance and pays the seller for the remainder, with the lender's release letter arriving alongside the new title. Verify the lien status through whatever public registry Namibia uses (DMV / DETRAN / Registro Civil / etc.) before agreeing to a purchase price.
