This 2016 Citroën C3 is 8-15 years old — value-priced daily-driver territory. Mechanical condition matters far more than cosmetics at this age. Ask for the most recent timing-belt/chain interval, suspension work, and any major repairs. A documented one-owner C3 in this range is a stronger buy than a higher-trim with unknown history.

This listing falls in the typical mileage band for a 2016 Citroën C3 (around 15-20k km/year). At average usage, expect normal-wear consumables to need attention — brakes, tires, fluids — but no major-component surprises if the service interval has been followed.

Brussels, Brussels Capital is a smaller market — comparable Citroën C3 listings are scarce, so this convertible can carry a small premium for buyers who can't find local alternatives. Be transparent about condition; buyers who travel for a listing typically expect what they see in the photos.

For this diesel Citroën C3, focus on DPF (diesel particulate filter) condition and any history of regen-cycle issues — short-trip diesels often clog DPFs early. Also check EGR cleanliness, turbocharger play, and injector codes via OBD-II. Diesel auxiliary equipment (glow plugs, fuel filter) wears on a schedule independent of the engine.

Insurance in Belgium is a private-carrier market. For a mid-tier Citroën C3 in Brussels Capital, expect 4-8% of the market value per year for full coverage. The biggest cost-driver is the city — Brussels rates can be meaningfully higher than rural Brussels Capital for the same Citroën.

Diesel fuel in Belgium typically runs near or just under gasoline. This C3's real advantage is fuel economy on long highway runs — for short-trip city use, a diesel's break-even versus a gasoline equivalent is many years out.
