Mitsubishi Pajero • 2007 • 16,000 km • € 5000 EUR

This 2007 Mitsubishi Pajero is 16+ years old, which moves it into project / collectible / hand-me-down territory. Pricing in this band has more to do with condition and rarity than age. Inspect for rust, frame integrity, and electrical wear — none of which the 2007 fuel-economy spec sheet will warn you about.

This listing is below the typical mileage band for a 2007 Mitsubishi — most Pajeros of this age show closer to 15-20k km/year. Low mileage is a price-supporting attribute but verify the odometer hasn't been rolled back (check service records and inspection-station logs in Belgium).

Kortrijk, Flanders is a smaller market — comparable Mitsubishi Pajero listings are scarce, so this car can carry a small premium for buyers who can't find local alternatives. Be transparent about condition; buyers who travel for a listing typically expect what they see in the photos.

For this diesel Mitsubishi Pajero, focus on DPF (diesel particulate filter) condition and any history of regen-cycle issues — short-trip diesels often clog DPFs early. Also check EGR cleanliness, turbocharger play, and injector codes via OBD-II. Diesel auxiliary equipment (glow plugs, fuel filter) wears on a schedule independent of the engine.

Insurance in Belgium is a private-carrier market. For a mid-tier Mitsubishi Pajero in Flanders, expect 4-8% of the market value per year for full coverage. The biggest cost-driver is the city — Kortrijk rates can be meaningfully higher than rural Flanders for the same Mitsubishi.

Diesel fuel in Belgium typically runs near or just under gasoline. This Pajero's real advantage is fuel economy on long highway runs — for short-trip city use, a diesel's break-even versus a gasoline equivalent is many years out.

This is a private-seller listing. For a mid-tier purchase like this Mitsubishi Pajero, the buyer usually pre-arranges financing with their own bank or credit union — get pre-approval before contacting the seller. The seller will typically wait for funds to clear before signing over the title.

In Flanders, Belgium, you'll need the original title signed over by the seller, a bill of sale, a current emissions / safety inspection where required by Flanders, a VIN-match verification, and proof of insurance to take possession. The state DMV or motor-vehicle agency processes the transfer; many do it the same day.

This is a private-seller listing — an individual selling their own Mitsubishi Pajero, not a business. Treat it like any other person-to-person purchase: meet in a safe public location (a police-station parking lot is the gold standard), verify the seller's ID against the title before any money changes hands, and never wire funds before seeing the vehicle in person.

A 16+ year-old Mitsubishi Pajero is past its depreciation trough — pricing from here is condition-driven, not age-driven. Documented examples of desirable trims can appreciate; rough examples stay flat or depreciate as parts availability tightens. Set the price by recent comparable sold prices, not by asking prices.

On a mid-tier listing in a smaller market like Kortrijk, Flanders, sellers often hold firmer on price because comparable Mitsubishi Pajeros are scarce. Lead with your timing (ready-to-buy) and your willingness to handle transfer paperwork — a frictionless transaction is sometimes worth a few percent to the seller.

If the seller still owes a bank or finance company against this Mitsubishi Pajero, the title has a lien recorded. Do NOT hand over funds before the lien is released. Standard practice in Belgium: buyer's bank pays the lender directly for the loan balance and pays the seller for the remainder, with the lender's release letter arriving alongside the new title. Verify the lien status through whatever public registry Belgium uses (DMV / DETRAN / Registro Civil / etc.) before agreeing to a purchase price.
