Frequently asked questions

This 1986 Toyota Land Cruiser is 16+ years old, which moves it into project / collectible / hand-me-down territory. Pricing in this band has more to do with condition and rarity than age. Inspect for rust, frame integrity, and electrical wear — none of which the 1986 fuel-economy spec sheet will warn you about.

Оваа листа паѓа во типичниот километарски бенд за 1986 Toyota Land Cruiser (околу 15-20км/година).

Santa Ana, Santa Ana is a smaller market — comparable Toyota Land Cruiser listings are scarce, so this car can carry a small premium for buyers who can't find local alternatives. Be transparent about condition; buyers who travel for a listing typically expect what they see in the photos.

For this diesel Toyota Land Cruiser, focus on DPF (diesel particulate filter) condition and any history of regen-cycle issues — short-trip diesels often clog DPFs early. Also check EGR cleanliness, turbocharger play, and injector codes via OBD-II. Diesel auxiliary equipment (glow plugs, fuel filter) wears on a schedule independent of the engine.

Insurance in El Salvador is a private-carrier market. For a premium-tier Toyota Land Cruiser in Santa Ana, expect 4-8% of the market value per year for full coverage. The biggest cost-driver is the city — Santa Ana rates can be meaningfully higher than rural Santa Ana for the same Toyota.

Diesel fuel in El Salvador typically runs near or just under gasoline. This Land Cruiser's real advantage is fuel economy on long highway runs — for short-trip city use, a diesel's break-even versus a gasoline equivalent is many years out.

This is a private-seller listing. For a premium-tier purchase like this Toyota Land Cruiser, the buyer usually pre-arranges financing with their own bank or credit union — get pre-approval before contacting the seller. The seller will typically wait for funds to clear before signing over the title.

In Santa Ana, El Salvador, you'll need the local title-equivalent paperwork, the seller's ID, and proof of any annual road-tax or circulation-permit payment. Verify the exact requirements with Santa Ana's transit authority before listing day — they vary by province / state.

Ова е список на приватни продавачи — индивидуално продавање на сопствени Toyota Land Cruiser, а не бизнис.

A 16+ year-old Toyota Land Cruiser is past its depreciation trough — pricing from here is condition-driven, not age-driven. Documented examples of desirable trims can appreciate; rough examples stay flat or depreciate as parts availability tightens. Set the price by recent comparable sold prices, not by asking prices.

Прашај кога листата отиде во живо — што и да е последниве 30 дена обично значи дека продавачот е отворен за намалување од 7 до 10 отсто.

If the seller still owes a bank or finance company against this Toyota Land Cruiser, the title has a lien recorded. Do NOT hand over funds before the lien is released. Standard practice in El Salvador: buyer's bank pays the lender directly for the loan balance and pays the seller for the remainder, with the lender's release letter arriving alongside the new title. Verify the lien status through whatever public registry El Salvador uses (DMV / DETRAN / Registro Civil / etc.) before agreeing to a purchase price.
