Frequently asked questions

This 2018 Changan Cx70 is 8-15 years old — value-priced daily-driver territory. Mechanical condition matters far more than cosmetics at this age. Ask for the most recent timing-belt/chain interval, suspension work, and any major repairs. A documented one-owner Cx70 in this range is a stronger buy than a higher-trim with unknown history.

This listing is below the typical mileage band for a 2018 Changan — most Cx70s of this age show closer to 15-20k km/year. Low mileage is a price-supporting attribute but verify the odometer hasn't been rolled back (check service records and inspection-station logs in Chile).

Concepción, Biobío is a mid-sized Chile market for suvs. You'll usually find a handful of comparable Changan Cx70 listings — meaning price discipline matters but buyer reach is wider than a major hub. Photograph the Cx70 in daylight and price within 3-5% of comparable active listings.

For an older Changan Cx70 like this one, prioritize: timing belt/chain interval (ask for the last replacement receipt), suspension bushings and shocks, brake-fluid condition, transmission service history, and rust on the rocker panels and subframe. A pre-purchase inspection at an independent shop pays for itself many times over at this age.

Insurance in Chile is a private-carrier market. For a premium-tier Changan Cx70 in Biobío, expect 4-8% of the market value per year for full coverage. The biggest cost-driver is the city — Concepción rates can be meaningfully higher than rural Biobío for the same Changan.

Gasoline in Chile is on the more expensive side globally. For this Cx70, plan a monthly fuel budget based on real-world city/highway mix; manufacturer-rated fuel economy is usually 10-15% optimistic in mixed driving.

This is a private-seller listing. For a premium-tier purchase like this Changan Cx70, the buyer usually pre-arranges financing with their own bank or credit union — get pre-approval before contacting the seller. The seller will typically wait for funds to clear before signing over the title.

In Biobío, Chile, you'll need the padrón vehicular, the current Permiso de Circulación, the seller's contrato de compraventa notarized at a notaría, and a clean SOAP (mandatory insurance) receipt. The Registro Civil processes the title transfer.

Low kilometers for a Changan Cx70 of this year preserves resale value meaningfully — buyers in Chile actively search by mileage filter. Each thousand kilometers added to the odometer between now and a future sale shaves a small but measurable amount off the next asking price.
