Frequently asked questions

This 1987 Ford Explorer is 16+ years old, which moves it into project / collectible / hand-me-down territory. Pricing in this band has more to do with condition and rarity than age. Inspect for rust, frame integrity, and electrical wear — none of which the 1987 fuel-economy spec sheet will warn you about.

This listing is below the typical mileage band for a 1987 Ford — most Explorers of this age show closer to 15-20k km/year. Low mileage is a price-supporting attribute but verify the odometer hasn't been rolled back (check service records and inspection-station logs in Colombia).

Barranquilla, Atlantico is a mid-sized Colombia market for suvs. You'll usually find a handful of comparable Ford Explorer listings — meaning price discipline matters but buyer reach is wider than a major hub. Photograph the Explorer in daylight and price within 3-5% of comparable active listings.

За постари Ford Explorer како овој, приоритет: временски појас/премин на ланецот (барај за последниот примач), суспендирањето и шоковите, кочницата-течност, историјата на преносните сервиси и рѓата на рокерите и подрамот.

Colombia requires SOAT (or its local equivalent) — basic third-party liability included with annual registration. For a premium-tier Ford Explorer, full-coverage private insurance on top usually runs 3-7% of the vehicle's market value per year. Quote with two or three carriers before listing day; rates vary widely by Atlantico.

Colombia има активен пазар на LPG / CNG. Овој Explorer работи на поевтино гориво од гасолин, но има малку помалку опсег по резервоар и бара сертификувано инсталаторска инспекција на секои неколку години.

This is a private-seller listing. For a premium-tier purchase like this Ford Explorer, the buyer usually pre-arranges financing with their own bank or credit union — get pre-approval before contacting the seller. The seller will typically wait for funds to clear before signing over the title.

In Atlantico, Colombia, you'll need the tarjeta de propiedad, the current SOAT certificate, technical-mechanical inspection (revisión técnico-mecánica) for vehicles older than the threshold, the contrato de compraventa, and the seller's cédula. The transit secretariat in Barranquilla processes the transfer.

Ова е список на приватни продавачи — индивидуално продавање на сопствени Ford Explorer, а не бизнис.

A 16+ year-old Ford Explorer is past its depreciation trough — pricing from here is condition-driven, not age-driven. Documented examples of desirable trims can appreciate; rough examples stay flat or depreciate as parts availability tightens. Set the price by recent comparable sold prices, not by asking prices.

Прашај кога листата отиде во живо — што и да е последниве 30 дена обично значи дека продавачот е отворен за намалување од 7 до 10 отсто.

If the seller still owes a bank or finance company against this Ford Explorer, the title has a lien recorded. Do NOT hand over funds before the lien is released. Standard practice in Colombia: buyer's bank pays the lender directly for the loan balance and pays the seller for the remainder, with the lender's release letter arriving alongside the new title. Verify the lien status through whatever public registry Colombia uses (DMV / DETRAN / Registro Civil / etc.) before agreeing to a purchase price.
