This 2000 Ford Focus is 16+ years old, which moves it into project / collectible / hand-me-down territory. Pricing in this band has more to do with condition and rarity than age. Check for rust, frame integrity, and electrical wear — none of which the 2000 fuel-economy spec sheet will warn you about.

Iyi mitengo iri pasi peiyo typical mileage band ye 2000 Ford — most Focuss yeiyi age show closer to 15-20k km/year. Low mileage itsika inotsigira mutengo asi tarisa kuti odometer haasi kudzokera (cheka service records uye inspection-station logs in Mexico).

For an older Ford Focus like this one, prioritize: timing belt / chain interval (ask for the last replacement receipt), suspension bushings and shocks, brake-fluid condition, transmission service history, and rust on the rocker panels and subframe. A pre-purchase inspection at an independent shop pays for itself many times over at this age.

Insurance in Mexico is a private-carrier market. For a premium-tier Ford Focus in Jalisco, expect 4-8% of the market value per year for full coverage. The biggest cost-driver is the city — Tlajomulco de Zúñiga rates can be meaningfully higher than rural Jalisco for the same Ford.

Gasoline pricing in Mexico is moderate. For this Focus, expect monthly fuel cost to scale roughly with kilometers driven and the manufacturer-rated economy minus 10-15% for real-world conditions.

In Jalisco, Mexico, you'll need the factura (original sales invoice), the most recent tenencia / refrendo receipt, the predial-update letter for the seller's address, a clean credit-bureau check, and the seller's ID. Tenencia transfers vary by state — Mexico City and CDMX-suburbs charge differently.

This is a private-seller listing — an individual selling their own Ford Focus, not a business. Treat it like any other person-to-person purchase: meet in a safe public location (a police-station parking lot is the gold standard), verify the seller's ID against the title before any money changes hands, and never wire funds before seeing the vehicle in person.

A 16+ year-old Ford Focus is past its depreciation trough — pricing from here is condition-driven, not age-driven. Documented examples of desirable trims can appreciate; rough examples stay flat or depreciate as parts availability tightens. Set the price by recent comparable sold prices, not by asking prices.
