This 2008 Renault Clio is 16+ years old, which moves it into project / collectible / hand-me-down territory. Pricing in this band has more to do with condition and rarity than age. Inspect for rust, frame integrity, and electrical wear — none of which the 2008 fuel-economy spec sheet will warn you about.

This listing falls in the typical mileage band for a 2008 Renault Clio (around 15-20k km/year). At average usage, expect normal-wear consumables to need attention — brakes, tires, fluids — but no major-component surprises if the service interval has been followed.

Casablanca, Grand Casablanca is a smaller market — comparable Renault Clio listings are scarce, so this coupe can carry a small premium for buyers who can't find local alternatives. Be transparent about condition; buyers who travel for a listing typically expect what they see in the photos.

For this diesel Renault Clio, focus on DPF (diesel particulate filter) condition and any history of regen-cycle issues — short-trip diesels often clog DPFs early. Also check EGR cleanliness, turbocharger play, and injector codes via OBD-II. Diesel auxiliary equipment (glow plugs, fuel filter) wears on a schedule independent of the engine.

Insurance in Morocco is a private-carrier market. For a premium-tier Renault Clio in Grand Casablanca, expect 4-8% of the market value per year for full coverage. The biggest cost-driver is the city — Casablanca rates can be meaningfully higher than rural Grand Casablanca for the same Renault.

Diesel fuel in Morocco typically runs near or just under gasoline. This Clio's real advantage is fuel economy on long highway runs — for short-trip city use, a diesel's break-even versus a gasoline equivalent is many years out.

This is a private-seller listing. For a premium-tier purchase like this Renault Clio, the buyer usually pre-arranges financing with their own bank or credit union — get pre-approval before contacting the seller. The seller will typically wait for funds to clear before signing over the title.

In Grand Casablanca, Morocco, you'll need the original title signed over by the seller, a bill of sale, a current emissions / safety inspection where required by Grand Casablanca, a VIN-match verification, and proof of insurance to take possession. The state DMV or motor-vehicle agency processes the transfer; many do it the same day.

This is a private-seller listing — an individual selling their own Renault Clio, not a business. Treat it like any other person-to-person purchase: meet in a safe public location (a police-station parking lot is the gold standard), verify the seller's ID against the title before any money changes hands, and never wire funds before seeing the vehicle in person.

A 16+ year-old Renault Clio is past its depreciation trough — pricing from here is condition-driven, not age-driven. Documented examples of desirable trims can appreciate; rough examples stay flat or depreciate as parts availability tightens. Set the price by recent comparable sold prices, not by asking prices.

On a premium-tier listing, negotiation room varies more by the seller's hold-time than by buyer pressure. Ask when the listing went live — anything past 30 days usually means the seller is open to a 7-10% reduction. Also inspect service records: missing entries are a legitimate price-reduction lever.

If the seller still owes a bank or finance company against this Renault Clio, the title has a lien recorded. Do NOT hand over funds before the lien is released. Standard practice in Morocco: buyer's bank pays the lender directly for the loan balance and pays the seller for the remainder, with the lender's release letter arriving alongside the new title. Verify the lien status through whatever public registry Morocco uses (DMV / DETRAN / Registro Civil / etc.) before agreeing to a purchase price.
