Toyota RAV4 • 2019 • 74,000 km • € 5000 EUR

This 2019 Toyota RAV4 is in the 3-7 year sweet spot — past the steepest depreciation, modern enough to share parts with current generations, usually still serviceable through manufacturer-recommended schedules. Most Toyotas in this range hold value well if service history is documented.

This listing falls in the typical mileage band for a 2019 Toyota RAV4 (around 15-20k km/year). At average usage, expect normal-wear consumables to need attention — brakes, tires, fluids — but no major-component surprises if the service interval has been followed.

Agaete, Canarias has one of the deeper Spain markets for suvs. Comparable Toyota RAV4 listings here usually number in the dozens, so buyers can be picky. Price competitively, photograph thoroughly, and respond to messages within a few hours — listings that don't get fast replies fall out of saved-search results in this market.

For this hybrid Toyota RAV4, check the high-voltage hybrid-battery health (Toyota/Honda dealers can pull a cell-balance report) and the inverter coolant level (frequently neglected). Also inspect the friction-brake hardware — hybrids use regen so much that brake pads can outlast rotors but rotors can rust unevenly.

Insurance in Spain is a private-carrier market. For a mid-tier Toyota RAV4 in Canarias, expect 4-8% of the market value per year for full coverage. The biggest cost-driver is the city — Agaete rates can be meaningfully higher than rural Canarias for the same Toyota.

This hybrid RAV4 typically returns 30-50% better fuel economy than its non-hybrid counterpart in city driving. In Spain, with expensive fuel prices, that translates into a noticeable monthly savings for daily commuters. Highway-only drivers see a smaller benefit.

This is a private-seller listing. For a mid-tier purchase like this Toyota RAV4, the buyer usually pre-arranges financing with their own bank or credit union — get pre-approval before contacting the seller. The seller will typically wait for funds to clear before signing over the title.

In Canarias, Spain, you'll need the local title-equivalent paperwork, the seller's ID, and proof of any annual road-tax or circulation-permit payment. Verify the exact requirements with Canarias's transit authority before listing day — they vary by province / state.

This is a private-seller listing — an individual selling their own Toyota RAV4, not a business. Treat it like any other person-to-person purchase: meet in a safe public location (a police-station parking lot is the gold standard), verify the seller's ID against the title before any money changes hands, and never wire funds before seeing the vehicle in person.

Toyota RAV4s in the mid-age band typically lose 5-10% per year of remaining value — the curve flattens compared to the first few years. Service history is the single biggest swing factor between an average asking price and a strong one in Spain.

On a mid-tier listing in a large market like Agaete, Canarias, comparable Toyota RAV4s are within a short drive — so price discipline is the seller's main lever. Expect a 3-6% negotiation window unless the listing is more than a few weeks old, in which case sellers often accept 7-9% off to clear.

If the seller still owes a bank or finance company against this Toyota RAV4, the title has a lien recorded. Do NOT hand over funds before the lien is released. Standard practice in Spain: buyer's bank pays the lender directly for the loan balance and pays the seller for the remainder, with the lender's release letter arriving alongside the new title. Verify the lien status through whatever public registry Spain uses (DMV / DETRAN / Registro Civil / etc.) before agreeing to a purchase price.
